Individual Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, and OCD

My Approach

Rather than focusing only on symptoms I work collaboratively with clients to understand the deeper patterns beneath anxiety, depression, conflict, perfectionism, or emotional overwhelm. Together we explore not just what is happening, but why it makes sense given your story.

I integrate the evidence-based approaches below.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Helping individuals and couples understand emotional patterns, strengthen relationships, and develop secure connection.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Explore the different “parts” of yourself with curiosity and compassion, creating greater internal balance and healing.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors, helping you develop healthier perspectives and practical coping strategies for everyday life.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories so they no longer feel as emotionally overwhelming.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

Learning to respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful steps toward the life you value.

Lifespan Integration (LI)

A gentle, body-based therapy that helps integrate past experiences into a more complete and coherent life story.

My approach to therapy includes collaborative homework exercises designed to help you apply what you’re learning in session to your everyday life. Together, we’ll identify practical reflections, worksheets, skills, or small experiments that support your goals and fit your current stage of growth.

Homework isn’t about adding another task to your to do list. It’s about creating opportunities for meaningful change between sessions. We’ll choose exercises together, tailoring them to your needs, and use your experiences to guide our work in future sessions.

Healing doesn’t only happen in the therapy room. Lasting growth comes from practicing new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding in the moments that matter most.

Because healing isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we practice, one step at a time.
